The Hand-Me-Down House

I love a good Hand-me-down! Nothing is better! Curt and I have recently been blessed with the opportunity to buy the house he grew up in, and that we are currently living in. It is so great! It has a great big yard and plenty of room for our family and friends to come stay too! It needs some updates here in there but that will be part of the fun of making it "ours."

(View from the front yard)
(View from the back yard and our next door neighbors will soon be my sister and brother-in-law)

Here are all their names from when they built the house back in 1983.

This is a height chart that was started by Curt and his sister, and we have now added the next generation of Chadwick kids.

So here's to the next 20 something years the house has to offer!

Yay! Oh my, I love that house. Great memories. We can't wait to see and be a part of all the new ones to come! Love you!

I can't WAIT to someday come see your house!!! and to add to the memories! I think it is SOOOO cool that your kids are now adding to the growth chart! I love history and history in the making! :)
I miss you more though. Feel free to bring the door jam back to TX when you move back here...that way you can keep the growth chart...hehe. ;-) (I'm still holding out hope that one day you'll be back)
